Bear

Bear was adopted in July 2024 and lived happily with his dad until he passed away in April 2026. According to family, they bonded quickly and were inseparable. Bear is a loyal & protective boy who would do best as an only animal! He's a big boy at 108 pounds and very powerful.

Ideal Home

Bear would do best as an only animal. He is not suitable for homes with children.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Bear has some behavioral issues, including fearful reactivity towards strangers which can present itself as aggression. With people he knows & trusts, he is an absolute doll!

• After your application is approved, please call to schedule an appointment to visit Bear.
• If you currently have a dog, please bring them to the meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility.

Bear is located at the Humane Society of Burnett County Inc. in Webster, WI. Transportation may be available within certain areas, please inquire for details.
