Meet Evie Mae, a young adult female hound mix who is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs 55lbs. Evie Mae's journey to us was a tough one; she was found abandoned and alone, trapped for days in the heat before she could be rescued. The scar around her snout is a permanent reminder of her past, but it hasn't dulled her spirit one bit. Despite her hardships, Evie Mae is one of the gentlest and most affectionate souls you'll ever encounter. She doesn't dwell on the past; she's all about spreading love. Her favorite things include leisurely walks, car rides with the wind in her fur, and simply being by your side. She's happiest when she can be near you, whether you're busy at your desk or relaxing on the couch. We're looking for a special person who understands that love, patience, and plenty of belly rubs can help heal even the deepest wounds.
