Smarty Marty SPC

Smarty Marty is a truly remarkable and incredibly smart girl! She was found in a state of distress, having experienced neglect and hurt from people, which understandably made her distrustful of those trying to help. Her foster mom describes her journey with immense pride, stating, "It's hard to post and talk about her without tearing up because I'm just in such awe of how far she has come. A whole village stepped up to get her here and I want to thank them all." After finding her hero, Smarty Marty is now ready to find a forever family who will cherish her for exactly who she is.

Ideal Home

Smarty Marty needs a patient adopter who is willing to work with a rescued dog, understanding that her past experiences mean she'll need time to build trust. Because she can be playful but a bit rough, a home without small children is best. She is good with cats, but unfortunately, she is allergic to cat dander.

Ongoing Health

She will require long-term allergy medication and a prescription diet to manage her health.

Training & Support

Smarty Marty is puppy pad trained and loves her kennel. She is a professional snuggler and will absolutely love you!
