Tyson

Tyson is a resilient soul with a heart full of hope, ready to embrace the love and freedom he was denied for so long. Despite a past filled with cruelty, neglect, and abandonment, Tyson's spirit remained unbroken. Rescuers found him severely malnourished with skin and eye issues, a weakened immune system, and heartworms. Today, he's a different dog, healthy, healing, and joyfully rediscovering life. He loves to run freely and experience kind touches, things he never knew before. Tyson has learned to walk calmly on a leash with a head halter, sit, and stay, and he enjoys playing with other dogs, especially females. He is crate trained, shows no food aggression, and thrives in a structured, compassionate environment. Tyson still has pent-up energy from his past, which he's learning to express through play, walks, and connection. He's looking for a patient, loving home that understands his journey and can provide the safety, love, and freedom he deserves.

Ideal Home

An active home with regular walks or runs, or a large yard where he can experience freedom. He would do best with older kids or teenagers who can help him continue building trust.

Ongoing Health

Tyson has been treated for heartworms and skin and eye conditions, and his immune system has been strengthened.

Training & Support

Tyson is crate trained and walks well on a leash with a head halter. He knows how to sit and stay and plays appropriately with other dogs, particularly females. He does not exhibit food aggression. He thrives in a structured and compassionate environment.
