Meet Angus! He's a big, goofy puppy with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Angus is a Bullmastiff mix, about 6 months old, and already tipping the scales at over 60 lbs! He's sure to grow into an even larger, handsome boy. Angus was found wandering near a local creek with his mom, Gloria, and after being rescued and vetted, he's now ready to find his forever family. He's got a playful spirit and is eager to remind you to slow down and enjoy the simple joys of life, like a good game of fetch!
Ideal Home
Angus would thrive in an active household with older children who can appreciate his enthusiastic, albeit sometimes clumsy, puppy energy. He's a big boy, so a well-fenced yard is a must for him to safely explore and play. He's a bit too much for cats, so a feline-free home would be best.
Ongoing Health
Angus is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including rabies and bordatella. He's heartworm negative and is currently on preventatives for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. He's all set to embark on his new adventure!
Training & Support
As a big, bouncy puppy, Angus is still learning the ropes! He's working on his leash manners and can get a bit enthusiastic when he chews on it. He's also still perfecting his house-training. Angus is doggie door trained, but his housebreaking is a work in progress. He enjoys car rides but needs to be safely restrained to manage his exuberance. Patience and consistent training will help Angus become the well-behaved canine companion we know he can be!

Transporation
Angus is currently located in Hico, Texas. We do offer transport for dogs going to new homes outside of Texas for an additional fee of $300. We work with trusted and reputable transport services to ensure your new furry friend arrives safely.
