Meet Poppy! Poppy is a delightful 4-year-old, 29-pound Beagle/Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! This sweet, affectionate girl is looking for a forever home where she can be part of the family and share her joyful personality. Poppy loves people and gets along wonderfully with women, men, and children of all ages. She is also friendly with other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends. While she hasn't been around cats, her easygoing nature shines through in most situations. She's incredibly loyal, loves affection, and adapts well to new environments. When someone comes home, she'll happily announce their arrival with a few barks before settling right back down once she realizes it's a friend. If you're looking for a sweet, energetic companion who loves adventures, cuddles, and being by your side, Poppy may be the perfect match for you.

Ideal Home

Poppy is an active and playful girl who loves going for walks, playing fetch, and chasing tennis balls. She would be thrilled to join an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures and playtime. She can be sensitive to sudden noises and may startle easily, so she'll do best with a patient family who can help build her confidence.

Poppy is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccines.

Training & Support

Poppy knows basic commands like "sit" and "stay" and responds well. She may benefit from a little additional training, but she's eager to please and learns quickly. Poppy will be shy for the first day or two, but then you can literally see the changes in her as she begins to feel comfortable and transforms into a super loving and playful dog. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate with no objections, but would be fine sleeping with her human too.
