Demi (FOSTER NEEDED)

Demi is the epitome of canine zen! This calm, grounded, and incredibly loving girl gets along wonderfully with humans and dogs of all sizes and ages. She's also currently living harmoniously with cats, though she would need some gentle guidance if sharing her home with smaller critters like guinea pigs or rabbits. Demi is a dream to have around – she's housebroken, crate trained, navigates stairs like a pro, never barks, and doesn't jump up. She's content with a relaxed lifestyle and has certainly earned her right to lounge after all she's been through. Demi absolutely thrives on affection, melting into your lap and soaking up every moment of attention. She also enjoys a good belly rub and will happily roll over for some tummy scratches! While she's gentle with her mouth, Demi truly cherishes her food, so it's best to feed her separately to ensure a smooth mealtime.

Ideal Home

Demi would be a perfect companion for a laid-back lifestyle and would even be a fantastic first dog!

Ongoing Health

Demi has undergone entropion surgery to improve her vision and will need daily dry eye ointment in each eye. She has also bravely completed double TECA-bo surgery to address chronic ear infections, meaning she is now deaf but free from pain. She is a trooper and patiently accepts her daily eye care.

Training & Support

Demi is a natural, making dog ownership a breeze. She already possesses excellent house manners and is a pleasure to be around.
