Meet Queenie, a three-year-old Retriever mix who weighs 55 lbs and has a heart of gold with a dash of sass! Queenie may have lost sight in one eye, but she navigates life with an adventurous and endearing spirit. She's a delightful mix of energy, charm, and just the right amount of diva attitude.
Queenie has a personality all her own! She enjoys her walks but might decide to pause for a little rest mid-stroll – because, well, she’s Queenie! She prefers wrestling with her doggy friends and soaking up your affection over chasing toys. While she can be a bit timid when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and is a pro at rolling over for belly rubs. She has a stubborn streak when it's time to leash up, but it's all part of her unique charm!
Queenie isn't toy-obsessed, but she is all about love and snuggles. She adores a good romp in the yard and would thrive in a home with plenty of space to explore. If you enjoy hiking, running, or simply an active lifestyle, Queenie would be your perfect companion. Just be mindful, as she has been known to dig or find her way out of containment if her curiosity gets the best of her. Don't worry, though; she's not one to run off – she just likes to keep life interesting! In playgroups, Queenie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playful, gentle rough-and-tumble without ever crossing the line. Her energy level is great for an active family, but she's just as happy to chill out once the fun is over.
