About Robin

Robin is a handsome 1.5-year-old, 37 lb male Aussie Cattle Dog mix who is eager to be someone's best friend! He had a previous family who abandoned him, but thankfully, he found a loving foster home. Robin is a sweetheart who adores children and does well with other dogs, including a playful foster puppy. He's crate and potty trained and is learning to walk nicely on a leash, though he can get excited about meeting new people. Robin is a smart boy who will quickly learn commands with a little patience and positive reinforcement. He would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy runs, hikes, or playdates. While he may need a little extra time to feel secure after his past abandonment, his loving nature makes him a truly worthwhile companion.

Ideal Home

Robin would do best in a home with children over 8 years old, as he can get a bit overexcited and give slobbery kisses. An active home with opportunities for exercise like runs or hikes would be ideal for him.

Ongoing Health

Robin has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Robin is crate and potty trained and is learning leash manners. He may pull on the leash due to excitement but will likely pick up on commands like "four paws on the floor" quickly with some gentle training. He may need a little extra time and reassurance to fully settle in and feel at home due to his past abandonment.
