Apollo

Apollo is a handsome 24-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is ready to shower his new family with love! He truly believes he's a lap dog and adores cuddles and hugs. Apollo is spunky and fun, still very much a puppy at heart. He's motivated by his favorite ball, which is great for playing fetch and for training. He is very smart and has learned a few basic commands from his fosters. While he has been around children at events and enjoys their company, he has not been around them during meal times.

Ideal Home

Apollo would do best in a home where someone is present most of the time, as he currently experiences separation anxiety. Due to his occasional resource guarding of food and bones, any children in the household should be introduced slowly and with supervision, especially around meal times.

Ongoing Health

Apollo is a young, healthy dog. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Apollo can resource guard food and bones, so slow introductions with children during mealtimes are recommended. He loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them.
