Hi there! I'm Leia, a 7-month-old, 47-pound bundle of joy with a hint of husky in my mix. I'm a medium-sized pup ready to bring tons of energy, fun, and laughter into your home. I'm already spayed, vaccinated, crate trained, leash trained, and house trained, so I'm well on my way to being the perfect companion. I'm a super friendly and submissive girl who loves meeting new people – you'll always be greeted with a happy tail wag!
My favorite activities involve plenty of playtime and adventure. I absolutely love a good game of tug-of-war, chasing squeaky balls, kicking my soccer ball around, and cooling off with sprinklers or the hose. If I want you to join in the fun, I'll give you a gentle nudge with my toy until you get the hint! I have a healthy appetite, I'm very treat-motivated, and I especially love snuggling up close for some quality time while I chew on my toys.
I'm a sweet and submissive pup, but I've also got a sassy side! I might "talk back" when I'm corrected, which usually ends up being pretty funny. On walks, I enjoy pausing to observe the world around me – it's just my natural curiosity shining through.
Ideal Home
I'd thrive in an active family with a big yard where I can really stretch my legs and run. Because I can be a little mouthy, I'd be happiest in a home with older children who know how to interact with dogs. I get along well with other dogs and am open to meeting cats, though I haven't been tested with them yet.
Ongoing Health
When I was very young, I broke my leg. It healed a little crooked, so I have a slight limp, but I promise it doesn't slow me down one bit! I can keep up with the best of them and still enjoy all my favorite activities.
Training & Support
I'm a smart pup and eager to please. While I might "talk back" occasionally, it's all in good fun. I sleep soundly in my crate all night and travel well in the car once I'm inside, though I might need a little encouragement to hop in at first. I'm also a champ when it comes to bath time!
