Latte is a sweet and spirited 1-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Retriever mix, weighing in at 52 pounds. She's a young dog with a lot of love to give and a bright future ahead of her. Latte has blossomed beautifully in her foster home, where she's learned to thrive with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. She's incredibly eager to please and is highly motivated by treats, making her a joy to train. Latte already knows "sit" and "down," and she's diligently working on her leash manners, especially in new environments where she can be a bit hesitant. She shows no reactivity towards people or other dogs on walks, and her confidence is growing with each new experience.
Latte has been a resident in foster care since December 2025 and has made incredible progress, both in her maturity and her understanding of structure. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is a playful, active companion. She's even had positive experiences with small dogs, puppies, and young children, displaying a gentle nature. Latte is a high-energy dog who will flourish in an active household that can provide ample physical activity and continued training. She would be thrilled to have another active dog to play with, as she can be quite bouncy and enthusiastic around new canine friends. If she were to be the only dog in the home, she would require daily exercise and enrichment to ensure her happiness and well-being.
Latte is already house-trained and settles nicely in her crate for up to four hours at a time. She transitions in and out of her crate with ease and shows no signs of separation anxiety. She's a loving and affectionate pup who genuinely wants to do her best, and with her eagerness to learn and loving spirit, she's sure to become an amazing companion for an active family ready to embrace her journey.
Ideal Home
Latte would thrive in an active home that can provide regular physical outlets and continued training. She would absolutely love having another active dog in the home who enjoys play.
