Hi there! I'm Wonton, a sweet and loving Staffy who's ready to find my forever home. My foster mom affectionately calls me her "sweet little sausage," and we're working together on a weight loss journey. I absolutely adore going on walks – it's my favorite way to spend time, and I get so excited just thinking about them! You'll be entertained by my pig-like snorts and impressive snoring. I'm a social butterfly and love other dogs, happily playing with a resident Pitbull before cuddling up on the couch. I'm even respectful of a grumpy senior Chihuahua! I also get along with kitties and don't seem to have a high prey drive, except for those elusive squirrels. I had a wonderful experience meeting a 5-year-old child and was very gentle. I'm a true people-lover; a look from me, a sit, and some eye contact will have me gazing up at you, hoping for cuddles. When I get them, I make the cutest happy noises and scoot even closer. I know "sit" and "down," though "down" feels a bit too much like a push-up for my liking! I'm also housetrained and kennel-trained, and I'm told I'm a well-behaved leash walker, rarely pulling.
