Penny Bun Mushroom

Penny Bun Mushroom is approximately seven months old and is a bundle of sweetness, sunshine, and affection. We suspect she might be a Pit Bull and German Shepherd mix, but with rescue puppies, it's always a delightful surprise! Penny Bun is incredibly loving and forms bonds quickly, showering everyone she meets with adoration. She's already a fantastic walking companion, trotting alongside her handler with impressive leash manners, as if she's had secret heel-work training! Her attentiveness and those soft, loving eye contact moments will have you dreaming of cozy times together.

One of Penny Bun's most endearing traits is her love for stuffed toys. She carries them around like cherished support companions, not destructively, but with a deep emotional attachment. Imagine her greeting you at the door with a happy wiggle and her favorite toy proudly in her mouth – pure joy!

Penny Bun is also a social butterfly with other dogs. She's submissive, friendly, and respectful, greeting them politely and engaging in play without being overly boisterous. She handles group play beautifully and shows excellent recovery skills, easily adapting to different canine personalities. She even did wonderfully meeting a cat, showing gentle curiosity and calm coexistence. Penny Bun also has a sweet and gentle nature with children, making her a wonderful addition to many families. Her medium energy level and calm indoor demeanor suggest she could even do well in an apartment, provided she receives ample enrichment. She truly embodies a balanced puppy: playful yet not overwhelming, cuddly but not clingy, and social but not chaotic. With her floppy puppy limbs, velvety fur, and happy disposition, Penny Bun is like a character from a heartwarming children's movie.

Penny Bun is a healthy, well-vetted puppy. Her adoption fee includes all necessary vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm preventatives, spay/neuter, and microchipping.

Training & Support

Penny Bun is already a well-behaved puppy with excellent leash manners and a calm demeanor. She shows good social skills with other dogs and is gentle with cats and children. She is a fast learner and her attentive nature will make continued training a joy.

Penny Bun is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport is available to these locations, with a $87 surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
