Hi, I'm Ned! I'm a handsome boy with fur that looks black but shimmers with brown in the sun. My little white toes are super cute, and I've grown into my long nose and ears! I might look like I have a grumpy expression, but I'm really a sweetheart with a distinguished white goatee. I arrived here from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky Day, as part of "The Three Amigos!" I love to snuggle, play with toys (especially unstuffed ones!), and go on adventures, whether it's chasing things that roll or searching for treats. I'm also a world-class snuggler and love to be close to my people. I've been working hard on my training and am eager to learn even more with you!
Ideal Home
I'd love a home with another dog to keep me company, as I really thrive with canine companionship for comfort and play. I also adore being on the sofa and sleeping in bed with my humans – that's a must! I'm friendly with kids and have enjoyed the company of my 10-year-old human foster sister and her friends. I'm still learning not to jump up and bark a little when meeting new people, but I promise I'm trying my best to be a good boy.
Ongoing Health
I'm a fast drinker, so my foster mom rations my water to help me slow down.
Training & Support
I'm potty trained, but sometimes I might have an accident if I can't hold it, so please watch for my signals! I already know "sit," "off," and "come," and I'm working on "down," "stay," and "wait." Training classes would be a fun way for us to bond! I used to be a bit naughty, but I'm getting much better at understanding what's expected of me, especially with commands like "off." I do have a tendency to explore the tops of surfaces, but I'm learning! My bark can be a bit surprising when I'm scared, sounding like a small animal, but it doesn't happen often.
