Meet Nero, a handsome two-year-old long-coat shepherd with a heart full of love and a spirit full of joy! Despite a difficult start to life, Nero is a truly happy boy who cherishes every moment. He embodies the best qualities of his breed: affectionate, loving, playful, and wonderfully goofy. Nero gets along well with other dogs, especially females, and is always a gentleman. He knows his basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, and has a moderate energy level, enjoying both playtime and plenty of well-deserved naps. His favorite activities include yard time, chasing his toys, and going for car rides!

Ideal Home

Nero would thrive in a home with an experienced handler who has previous German Shepherd ownership experience. He absolutely needs a secure, fenced-in yard and a cat-free environment due to his high prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Nero has been fully vetted and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He is neutered. After a challenging past, he has received veterinary and chiropractic care to address pain and swelling, and is now feeling much better.

Training & Support

Nero knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash. His main needs are a consistent and experienced handler who can provide him with the love and attention he deserves.
