Meet Petunia! This delightful 11-month-old Lab mix is a sweet, social girl who adores people, other dogs, and children. She's currently living her best life in a foster home with multiple dogs, a cat, and young kids, proving herself to be an adaptable and loving pup who easily fits into active family life. Petunia comes from an area with a high number of homeless pets, and by choosing to adopt her, you're not only saving her life but also creating space for another dog in need.
Ideal Home
Petunia would thrive in a home that is ready for the adventure of raising a puppy. She'd love a family of any size that enjoys spending quality time together, whether that's playing in the yard, going for walks, or snuggling up after a fun day. She's done wonderfully with other dogs and children, so she would enjoy having a canine sibling, but she'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as an only dog.
Ongoing Health
Petunia is a healthy puppy. All necessary vetting, including vaccines, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip, have been provided.
Training & Support
Petunia is still young and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and all the dedication that puppyhood requires. Consistency, routine, structure, and proper socialization from the start are essential. We require adoptive families to crate train their puppy immediately upon arrival, which aids in potty training, energy management, and developing a well-balanced adult dog.

Petunia is currently fostered in the Indianapolis, IN area. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport is available to many locations, and you can track your pet's journey in real time. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
