Augustus, affectionately known as Gus, is a distinguished gentleman of ten years, a charming Pit Bull mix seeking a fresh start. He was once adopted by a loving family, but sadly, he was found as a stray and his family never reclaimed him. Now, he's ready to shower a new family with his abundant love and companionship. Despite his age, Gus has so much to offer! He adores people of all ages and gets along well with most dogs and dog-savvy cats. He's a house-trained and crate-trained fellow who walks nicely on a leash, though he can get a bit stronger when he's really excited. He knows his manners, but be prepared for a happy dance when he's thrilled – it's best to either join in or step aside! Gus is a true velcro dog, always wanting to be by his person's side, asking for attention and offering snuggles 24/7. He's a larger boy, but a gentle soul who dislikes being alone in the dark and isn't a fan of the rain. Gus is an older gentleman brimming with love, just waiting for his forever home.

Gus would love a home where he can be close to his people. He doesn't like being out in the dark alone and dislikes being in the rain.
