Meet Babe Ruth - A Big Heart Ready for His Home Run!

Babe Ruth is a sweet, cuddly 40lb American Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of March 21, 2022. He was rescued by Sunnyside from a hoarding situation where he was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom, left in the woods/backyard. Despite his rough beginning, Babe Ruth has held onto the kindest, most loving spirit. He is the definition of a gentle love bug, adoring to be close to his people. Whether curling up for snuggles, resting his head on your lap, or quietly following you around the house, his calm demeanor radiates a gentle spirit that has been found to be calming by rescue volunteers.

Ideal Home

Babe Ruth would do best in a home that can continue showing him kindness, stability, and love. He'd be a great fit as an ESA dog, and we believe he'd be great with kids and cats based on his consistent calm, unreactive demeanor.

Transportation

Babe Ruth is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can be arranged to your state or a neighboring state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport.
