Afro is a distinguished 12-year-old Miniature Poodle, weighing 11 pounds, who has officially retired from chewing but is still a master of charming everyone he meets. Dressed in a gorgeous cream coat, Afro carries himself with effortless class and has perfected the art of making people smile. His recent dental work left him with no teeth, but he wears his gummy grin like a badge of honor, making snack time a more sophisticated affair. Afro is sweet, social, and happiest when surrounded by people. He loves to be close to his humans and is always ready for a cuddle or to simply keep you company.

Despite a difficult past, including surviving being hit by a car, Afro has chosen kindness and greets each day with a wag and a soft expression. He is now searching for a family who will cherish his golden years, appreciate his adorable gummy smile, keep his fluffy coat looking fabulous, and remind him that home is a feeling.

Ongoing Health

Afro is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and recently had a dental. He tested negative for heartworm on his 4DX test.

Training & Support

Afro has retired from chewing and is generally a well-behaved companion. He enjoys being close to his humans and is ready to spend his days being adored.
