The Pond Princess, backyard Olympian, and certified free spirit! Mochi has truly blossomed into a wonderful companion. She was once one of many dogs on a property with an unpredictable lifestyle, but even then, she was sweet, social, and thoughtful. Now, Mochi is thriving! She absolutely loves water and can be found swimming in any pool, pond, or even a wheelbarrow full of rainwater. Her joyous hops and bounces as she runs are a sight to behold, making you smile without even trying.
Mochi has a beautiful independent streak, making her easy to live with. She's not clingy and is content exploring, spending time with other dogs, or basking in a sunny spot. However, once she bonds with you, she's incredibly loyal and will become the sweetest companion, showering you with kisses and quiet devotion. While she can be a little shy meeting new people, she's just being thoughtful before offering her heart. Mochi's adventurous spirit calms once she's inside, where she's happy to be your little shadow, quietly following you from room to room and content to simply be near you. She has a wonderfully balanced energy level, enjoying outdoor adventures and then settling peacefully indoors.
Ideal Home
Mochi adores other dogs and would love to live with a canine friend to share adventures and quiet moments with. We would especially love to see her with someone who enjoys the outdoors, perhaps with a yard, a lake house, or a cabin, and is looking for a hiking buddy. A family that appreciates muddy paws, creek days, and a dog who finds joy in every outdoor adventure is ideal. She is looking for a co-star to share life's adventures with. Homes with children 10 years and over are recommended.

Training & Support
Mochi has excellent social skills with other dogs, being naturally submissive, respectful, and adept at reading their cues.

Transporation
Mochi is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
