About Frannie

Frannie is a 7-year-old Shepherd x Terrier mix with an irresistible smile and a heart of gold. She weighs 40-45 pounds. Frannie is gentle with the little dogs she is being fostered with, but also loves to play with bigger dogs. She will need to be tested with any bigger dogs in her forever home, as she is choosy. She would pair well with a smaller dog or dogs of other sizes that are chill. She prefers male dogs to female, and usually only plays with the males. She did well with the 10+ year old kids she met and was excited to see them! She would probably be ok with kids slightly younger than that. Don't let her frosty face fool you; Frannie loves to run and has the energy of a younger dog. She is very food motivated! This girl loves belly rubs, being outside, and peanut butter or cheese.

Ideal Home

Frannie would be a great fit for lots of different homes, including a family, an individual who would take her on lots of adventures, or a retired couple. She has a prey drive and probably shouldn't be in a home with small animals like rodents or cats, but small dogs are ok (as long as they are friendly).

Ongoing Health

Frannie is spayed and vaccinated. Her teeth look great for her age.

Training & Support

Frannie is very food motivated, which can be a great asset during training. She loves to chase squirrels and birds, etc.
