Llama

Llama is an adorable 8-year-old, 65.6lb female Belgian Shepherd mix with a sweet and sensitive soul. She can be shy when first meeting new people, but with a little time and patience, she forms deep bonds with those she trusts. In our care, she's blossomed into a dog who enjoys gentle pets, chin scratches, and checking in on walks. She kindly accepts treats and is eager to please her familiar handlers. Llama arrived in our care on December 25, 2025, through our Humane Law Enforcement team. She's looking for a quiet home where she can soak up all the love and attention as the only pet. While she may not be a candidate for dog parks or other off-leash venues, there are many other wonderful activities you can enjoy together to strengthen your bond. With patience and plenty of tasty treats, Llama will undoubtedly be a loving and loyal companion.
