Rocky

Rocky is a very sweet guy once you earn his trust. He may bark when he first meets you but with patience and treats he will be your best friend. Rocky has so much personality and would be a great addition to any home. He loves to play with his toys and run around the fields. He is very goofy and will always keep you laughing. Rocky LOVES to play with his dog friends and does amazing on leash. This boy is the perfect size and makes a wonderful companion. He will snuggle up with you or join you on any adventures. All he needs is someone to take a chance on him. He is expected to be around 40 pounds when full grown.

Ideal Home

Rocky would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He is nervous with new people and tends to bark, so we think he would do best with kids 12+.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Rocky knows 'sit', 'down', and 'shake'. He is working on 'touch' and 'spin'. He follows treats into his crate and settles nicely. He loves plushy toys, sniffing, treats, and booty scratches. Strangers make Rocky nervous, but he's all bark. Give him time to feel safe and he will show you how much love he can give.

Rocky is in a foster home in Delaplane, VA. Appointments are required for approved applicants to meet him.
