Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound female who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and ready to find her forever home! Dottie is a cuddle bug who loves to play and is a very loyal companion. She is very intelligent and food motivated, so she catches on with training very quickly. She is goofy and has a lot of personality that will not fail to make you laugh. She just wants to be by your side! Dottie is a great companion who is eager to please!
Ideal Home
Dottie would do best with a moderately active home. She enjoys going for at least one good walk or play session a day. Dottie has issues with younger men/boys; she is totally fine with adult men/men who don't look like teenagers or young boys. She would do best in a home without young males or an all-female home. She is great meeting women. Dottie is dog-friendly and currently lives with other dogs! She does best with big dogs and can sometimes get overstimulated in a big group of dogs. She does best with one or two dogs in a more calm environment. She would also thrive as the only pet, so she can have all your love and attention. Dottie is cat-friendly and currently lives with cats in her foster home. She leaves them alone for the most part, but will play with them if they engage or if the cat initiates it.
Ongoing Health
Dottie is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.
Training & Support
Dottie walks great on leash! She will walk calmly by your side, but she does pull if she sees another dog. She will also bark if she sees another dog. Dottie is fully potty trained and is sure to only do her business outside. Dottie is also crate trained! Her current foster allows her to free roam and she does well with this. She will whine at first, but doesn't tear anything up and will eventually settle. She loves her kennel and will go in willingly or relax in there while her mom is working.
