Hi there! I'm Tex, and I'm on the lookout for my forever family! I'm a playful pup with a big heart, ready to be your best friend, professional ball chaser, and stick finder extraordinaire. I've already mastered the "sit" command, making me quite the scholar, and I'm a champion napper in my crate at night. I love people of all sizes, and while I haven't met any little humans yet, I imagine they're just tiny adults with even better snack options! As for cats, they're quite interesting! I don't mind them and I'm still figuring out if they're friends, furniture, or supervisors. If you're searching for a fun-loving companion, I'm ready to report for duty!

Ideal Home

I love humans of all shapes and sizes! I'm still getting to know cats and am curious about them.

Ongoing Health

My adoption fee includes being up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines, a fecal test and deworming if necessary, a heartworm test, and spay or neuter (pre-surgical bloodwork not included). I also come with a microchip.

Training & Support

I already know how to sit and I sleep well in my crate at night. Free access to weekly training classes for the life of the dog is included with my adoption!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• We do not adopt out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy, and then a home check is scheduled. If there are multiple applications, the puppy will be adopted to the home that is the best fit after all home checks are completed.
• Chicagoland Dog Rescue reserves the right to restrict adoption of a dog to potential adopters who live within a fifty (50) mile radius of Schaumburg, IL.
