About Walrus

Aged to perfection, Walrus is a 10-year-old, 17-pound male Maltese and Poodle mix who is full of life and charm. Despite his senior status, he has a happy trot and a wiggly butt that shows off his playful spirit. Walrus is a great walker who enjoys strutting his stuff with pep in his step. He came to us as a stray from Silicon Valley Animal Care and Services, and due to his senior status, they felt he would do best in a senior-focused rescue. Walrus is friendly, upbeat, and full of good vibes, making him a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Walrus would love an adopter with previous injection experience or simply a willingness to learn how to administer his daily diabetes medication.

Ongoing Health

Walrus was diagnosed with Diabetes and takes his daily injections like a champ.

Training & Support

Walrus is wonderful with other dogs and gets along swimmingly with canine pals of all stripes.
