Hi there! My name is Caramel, though some of my favorite people call me Caramella. I'm a sweet, playful, and cuddly Labrador Retriever mix, born around April 8, 2026.
When I first meet new people, I can be a little shy. New experiences can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, but with a little patience, a few kind words, and some gentle scratches, my true personality shines through! Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention – belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and hearing how adorable I am are my favorites! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with my forever family. My days are filled with fun, like carrying toys around, playing with my brother, exploring, and then taking well-deserved naps. I'm also a smart cookie! I'm doing great with crate training and often head into my crate on my own when it's time to rest. I'm also working on my potty manners and am pretty good at using my puppy pads. More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me build my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. Transporation
Caramel is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may include pickup locations in nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
