Melody is a delightful 6-month-old Rat Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure. She's looking for a special person or family who can help her blossom into a confident and well-adjusted companion. Melody enjoys being a part of her family's daily life and would love to have free roam of the house, being right alongside her people. She's okay in her crate but truly prefers to be with her humans. Melody thrives on structure and will do best with an adopter who can provide a consistent routine and clear, kind guidance.

Melody would thrive in a home with another calm, laid-back older dog who can be a positive role model. She also does best with children over 10 years old who can match her playful energy while respecting her need for boundaries.
