Meet Buttercup! She's a sweet, gentle pup who may be a little shy and reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes incredibly loving and loyal. Buttercup has low-to-moderate energy and enjoys a good game of fetch, always happy to bring the ball back for another throw. She's also very treat and food motivated, making training sessions a breeze and a lot of fun! Some of her favorite things include belly rubs, tasty snacks, and greeting her favorite people when they come home.
Ideal Home
Buttercup would do best in a patient home where she has the time to warm up to new people, especially men, as she is afraid of them. She would thrive with older children due to her unfamiliarity with toddlers. While she doesn't require another dog in the home, a calm and friendly canine companion could help her build confidence. Buttercup cannot live with cats.
Ongoing Health
Buttercup is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, has been spayed, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Buttercup learned potty training quickly and sleeps well in her crate at night. She is good with other dogs but can be reactive when she sees them from a distance, so slow introductions are recommended.
