About Lyra

Meet Lyra, an estimated 6-month-old pup who currently weighs 25lbs and is still growing! Lyra's journey began tough, found as a stray on an abandoned property in South Carolina, fending for herself. She was rescued just before a winter storm, thin and struggling, but thanks to the kindness of rescuers and a loving foster home, she's transformed! Now safe, healthy, and thriving, Lyra is a sweet, smart, and affectionate girl with a gentle, joyful spirit. Her foster mom can't get enough of her, and it's easy to see why! Lyra is ready to leave her past behind and find her forever family in New York. She's dreaming of cozy naps, belly rubs, playtime, and a home where she'll always be cherished. If you're seeking a loving companion with a beautiful soul and a strong spirit, Lyra could be the one for you.
