Sophie - Bonded Pair

Sophie is a 10-year-old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier who's a sweet and affectionate girl. She was surrendered by her family due to financial hardship, along with her sister Sadie, a Yorkie-Poo. Sophie loves attention and cuddles. While she's a senior, she still has bursts of zoomies in the yard and occasionally likes to play with her favorite squirrel stuffy. She loves treats and has enjoyed soft canned food post-dental extractions. She may have been fed table scraps as she gets quite vocal when her fosters are enjoying dinner. Sophie has done well with other small dogs and came from a family with small children, always preferring to be by their side. She is bonded to Sadie and they need to be adopted together.

Ideal Home

Sophie would do best in a home with a yard where she can get plenty of love and affection with her sister Sadie. She has done well with other small dogs and children of all ages. It is unknown how she does with cats or other pets.

Ongoing Health

Sophie recently had dental extractions and is up-to-date on vaccines and prevention medications for heartworm and fleas. She is spayed and chipped.

Training & Support

Sophie is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands. She needs work on leash training. She can get vocal when her fosters are eating dinner, suggesting she may have been fed table scraps in the past.
