Meet Chief,
Chief came from humble beginnings after his owner could no longer care for him, and now he is looking for a fresh start with a family of his own.
Chief has previously been around children, cats, and select dogs. He loves being with people and is eager to build strong, lasting bonds with those around him. Like your typical Husky, Chief is intelligent, active, and full of personality. He will thrive with patience, consistency, training, and plenty of love.
Chief has also been working hard on his training, including leash manners and other behavioral skills, and continues to make progress. His future family should be prepared to continue reinforcing the training he has already begun so he can continue to succeed and grow.
When he's not working on his training, Chief enjoys all the fun things life has to offer. He loves swimming and being in the water, running around outdoors, and playing with his favorite stuffed toys. Chief has an active side and enjoys getting his energy out through play and adventure.
Once he's had his exercise and playtime, Chief's favorite place to be is curled up on the couch next to his people. He absolutely loves to cuddle and is happiest when he can relax and enjoy quality time with his family.
Chief is searching for a family willing to give him the time he needs to settle in and adjust to a new home. In return, he will reward you with loyalty, companionship, and endless affection. Whether it's going for walks, exploring the outdoors, splashing in the water, playing with toys, or simply cuddling on the couch, Chief is ready to become someone's best friend.
If you're looking for a devoted companion and are willing to invest the time to help him reach his full potential, Chief may be the perfect addition to your family. I am currently 42 lbs If you are interested in meeting Chief, please visit the shelter during open adoption hours:
