Rusty

Hi there! My name is Rusty, and I'm a handsome 1-year-old fellow weighing in at about 63 lbs. I came to the shelter after being found running at large with a friend. We were both a bit thin and in need of some good care, but I've been doing great here and I'm ready to find my forever family! I love getting attention and affection, and I'm a sweet dog looking for a loving home.

Ideal Home

I do well with friendly, playful dogs around my own size and have previously lived with both male and female dogs. However, I have a higher prey drive and am not good around small animals, so I would do best in a home without them.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions were mentioned. All dogs receive heartworm testing (if 6 months or older), parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, de-wormer, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip as part of the adoption fee.

Training & Support

I will likely need some work with housebreaking and general basic training, as I haven't had much formal training.
