Daniel (Danny Boy)

Daniel, a sweet and affectionate boy, is utterly devoted to his people. He thrives on play, cuddles, and being as close to you as possible. Personal space is an optional concept for Daniel; he’ll happily follow you from room to room, ensuring you never forget how adored you are. He has, however, decided that most other dogs aren't quite up to his standards for friendship, preferring to be the sole canine star. Cats are a definite no-go for Daniel; he views them with suspicion and would be happiest in a home without them.

Daniel's name, meaning "God is my judge," proved prophetic when he was rescued just five minutes before his scheduled euthanasia at a local shelter. Against all odds, he received a second chance and has been nothing but love, joy, and gratitude ever since.

Ideal Home

Humans who want a clingy, affectionate best friend, plenty of time for play and cuddles, a home without cats, and preferably no other dogs to steal his spotlight. Daily reminders of his handsomeness are also a plus!
