Meet Wimby, a delightful 4-year-old suspected Pyr/Lab mix who is 100% good boy! Wimby is the perfect blend of well-behaved, calm, and playful. He has a sweet spirit and enjoys the simple pleasures in life, like a good nap and some sunshine. He seems to be a master of a fun game of "stuffy theft" with his younger human companions, which usually ends with a happy chase and a cozy nap. While he enjoys family life, he also has a special bond with his foster grandparents, who appreciate his laid-back nature during their daily walks.

Ideal Home

Wimby would absolutely love a home with a fenced yard where he can relax and watch the world go by. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, but would also be happy as the sole canine in the household. Wimby is a bit intimidated by cats and would likely do best in a cat-free environment.

Ongoing Health

Wimby sheds a lot, so he would benefit from regular grooming appointments. He is also quite terrified of the vacuum cleaner and loud noises in general. His foster mom has found that putting him outside while vacuuming is a helpful solution.

Training & Support

Wimby is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He views his crate as a safe space and is comfortable spending time in it when his foster family is away.
