Equal parts cuddly sweetheart and playful goofball, Lentil Lou brings laughter, affection, and nonstop cuteness wherever she goes. She's believed to be a German Shepherd mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing 48 lbs. Lentil Lou is as sweet as they come, a social butterfly who adores every person she meets. She has been gentle around young children and would be happiest in a home with kids 12 and older. She is very dog friendly and loves to make friends with other dogs of all temperaments. Lentil Lou loves to play, wrestle, and chase, but also enjoys relaxing at home with her furry friends. She would do great in a home with another playful dog but can also be your one and only. She is a smart gal, eager to please and treat-motivated. Lentil Lou knows how to sit and is ready to learn more. She walks fairly nicely on a leash, occasionally pulling out of excitement, but responds well to gentle reminders. She is crate trained and potty trained. Lentil Lou is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Pick up for Canadian adopters is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
