Like many young dogs, he has grown into his own unique personality, Hagen has made it clear that adventure is simply too tempting! Recently, he has developed a habit of exploring beyond the yard and has even encouraged his canine brother to join in the fun. Because of this, Hagen is looking for a home that is committed to keeping him safe and secure. We strongly believe all pets should either be supervised outdoors or contained within a securely fenced area, and Hagen will thrive in a home that shares this philosophy. He will need to be leash-walked or have access to a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and enjoy being a dog without the risk of wandering. Aside from his adventurous streak, Hagen has proven to be a wonderful companion. He is house-trained, affectionate, and great with both children, cats and other dogs. He loves being part of family life and enjoys spending time with his people. Hagen is also a good little watchdog and will alert you with a bark when he notices someone unfamiliar approaching the home. In new or busy public settings, Hagen can be a bit shy and is still building his confidence, but with patience, encouragement, and positive experiences, he continues to make progress.
