A little about them

Is big, soft, fluffy, and sweet what you’re looking for? Ruff may be your guy! This 10-week-old mixed-breed puppy has Poodle as his largest DNA percentage. He currently weighs 18 pounds and loves playing, cuddling, and falling asleep in your arms after a busy day.

Ideal Home

Ruff has done well with children and other dogs. He needs a home with the time and patience to help a puppy learn and grow. Applicants who work outside the home for more than four hours should explain who will spend time with Ruff while they are away. Applications are considered within a 60-mile radius of Pittsford, NY.

Ongoing Health

His adoption fee includes a microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and neutering scheduled through the rescue. Neutering will be completed by six months of age.

Training & Support

Ruff is not comfortable with crate training and has shown anxiety during attempts. A corral-style enclosure is strongly recommended to help keep him safe while he learns to feel secure when contained. His foster can discuss this further with interested adopters. Potty training is off to a great start and should progress quickly with consistency in his forever home.
