Brisket is a male beagle mix who looks like he was perfectly slow-cooked in sweetness and served with a side of soulful eyes. He's the kind of dog who wants to be good so badly that if you sigh near him, he'll immediately assume he ruined Thanksgiving. This sweet boy doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Truly. Correct another dog across the yard? Brisket: I'm so sorry, that was probably my fault. Drop something on the floor? Brisket: I'll see myself out. We wouldn't call him fearful, just deeply, profoundly sensitive. He feels feelings. All of them. If he thinks you frowned at him, he will be convinced you're drafting a breakup text. What he needs most is kindness, reassurance, and a human who understands that a soft voice and gentle guidance go a long way.
