About Hunter

Hunter and Marley are a bonded pair who tragically lost their owner. A kind family took them in for the past year, but due to existing pets and housing restrictions, they had to make the difficult decision to find new homes for Hunter and Marley. Now, these two sweet souls are ready to start their new lives.

Hunter is an 8.5-year-old, 55lb Lab/Shar Pei mix. He's a handsome boy who still enjoys exploring but also cherishes quiet time with his humans. Despite his recent life changes, Hunter remains a sweet and affectionate companion who thrives on attention. He has undergone surgery to correct entropion, a painful eyelid condition, and is currently recovering. Once healed, he'll be much more comfortable. Hunter has tested well with cats. Given the stress of his surgery and recent transitions, Hunter would do best as an only dog for now, with the possibility of introducing another dog later once he's settled and confident.

Ideal Home

Hunter would do best as an only dog, at least initially, with the potential to add another dog in the future.

Ongoing Health

Hunter has had surgery to correct entropion, a painful eyelid condition, and is currently recovering.

Training & Support

No specific training needs are mentioned, but Hunter would benefit from a stable and loving environment to help him settle in.
