Lil Duke

Lil Duke is an adorable 8-pound Yorkie mix with a handsome gray coat. While he was thought to be three years old, his physical condition and gait suggest he is likely closer to five to seven years old. He has low vision and may be partially blind. Because of his limited sight, Lil Duke can get confused and scared in new environments. His natural defense mechanism when feeling threatened is to growl or snarl, especially in confined spaces like bathrooms or when someone reaches for him unexpectedly. He's a sweet boy who is looking for a stable place to land and will need a little extra time and a gentle touch to warm up to his new family. Once he feels secure, Lil Duke has a low energy level and is a tiny, quiet companion.

Ideal Home

Lil Duke would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient owner. He is not recommended for households with children or high levels of chaos.

Lil Duke is potty trained. He may growl or snarl when frightened, particularly in confined spaces or when someone reaches for him unexpectedly. A gentle touch and patience will be key to helping him adjust.
