Gizmo

Gizmo is a 2-year-old, 51-pound bundle of joy looking for his forever home! He's a vibrant and playful pup with a big personality just waiting to share with you. Gizmo can be a bit hesitant when it's time to leash up in his kennel, but once he's outside, his true colors shine! He might take a few moments to warm up to new people, but soon he'll be showing off his playful body language and zooming with excitement. Gizmo loves people and will happily approach anyone in the yard for attention and affection. He's generally good with handling and politely disengages when he needs a break. He's also easy to walk back to his kennel and unleashes without any trouble. Gizmo can be vocal when he sees other dogs through a fence and can be a bit pushy during initial introductions.

Ideal Home

Gizmo would do best in a household with teens and up. He lived with dogs in his previous home and may get along with your dog, but a slow introduction will be key. He has no known history with cats but may do well with a slow introduction, though they might pique his interest.

Gizmo is healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Gizmo can be a bit vocal and pushy with other dogs during initial introductions, so he would benefit from a family prepared to help him manage his excitement.
