Tahoe Trailblazer is a handsome and spirited 1.5-year-old, 57 lb Shepherd mix who is happiest when he's part of the action! He's social, people-loving, and eager to be your go-to adventure buddy. His unique coat and athletic build make him a head-turner, and his smart, people-oriented nature makes him an absolute joy to be around. Tahoe is house-trained, crate-trained, and has a playful, affectionate, and intelligent personality. He thrives on interaction, activity, and wants to be actively involved with his people. Tahoe approaches new people with confidence and friendliness, though he can be a bit enthusiastic in greetings. He responds well to guidance and is a very workable dog eager to please.
Ideal Home
Tahoe would thrive in an active home where he can be included in family activities, hikes, and outdoor adventures. He needs a feline-free home as his prey drive is high. He should also live with dogs over 25 lbs, ideally medium to large-sized, confident dogs who appreciate playful energy.
Ongoing Health
Tahoe is up-to-date on all vetting and has no known health conditions.
Training & Support
Tahoe is an intelligent and eager learner who will benefit from continued training, which he will likely find genuinely fun. He responds well to leash corrections, checks back in with handlers, and recovers quickly from overstimulation. Consistency and structure will go a long way in helping him thrive.
