Meet Zelda Zelda is our little chocolate love! This older puppy made her way from Alabama when they no longer had space for her. Since her arrival, poor girl has been a little overwhelmed and nervous in the shelter environment but every day her confidence is growing! Zelda loves loves loves her friends! She would thrive in a home with another resident dog to continue to show her the ropes and be her best friend. She can be nervous at first when meeting new people or experience new things (like the very scary doorways) but with a doggy friends or a little baby talk and coaxing, she comes around and overcomes her fears! She absolutely loves her toys and you can find her entertaining herself by flipping them around and pouncing on them - it's adorable! Zelda would love a home that's going to continue to help build her confidence and give her all the love she deserves!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
