Meet Dragonfly! This beautiful 1-year-old Husky mix is a smart and sweet girl who is ready to find her forever family. Dragonfly was a bit shy when she first arrived, but with the love and care of her foster family, her wonderful personality has truly bloomed! She's fully housetrained, a pleasure to be around, and is a quick learner.

Ideal Home

Dragonfly is a little nervous around young children, so she would do best in a home with teenagers or older. She improves daily, but a calmer environment will help her continue to build confidence.

Dragonfly is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Dragonfly walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys staying close to her person, often heeling naturally. She's obsessed with her ball and is even known to entertain herself by throwing it! She enjoys playing with other dogs and is curious about cats, but respects redirection and leaves them be when asked. While she was initially a little hesitant around her foster's husband, she's made incredible progress and now seeks him out for belly rubs and affection.

Transportation

Dragonfly is located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their new pet. We offer local or virtual meet-and-greets once an application is on file.
