Captain

Hi there! My name is Captain and I'm a handsome 2-year-old fellow weighing in at 54 lbs. I'm still settling in and getting to know all the wonderful people here, but I can tell you I'm a sweet, curious, and very affectionate pup! I'm dreaming of a cozy couch and a loving family to call my own.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can continue to explore and show off my affectionate side. If you're ready for a loyal companion, I might be the one for you!

Ongoing Health

I've received my DAPPL, Rabies, and Bordatella vaccines, and I'm microchipped with a Cuyahoga County license. It's recommended that I visit your personal vet within two weeks of leaving the kennel, and I may need follow-up boosters for my vaccinations.

Training & Support

As I'm still getting to know my new routines, I'm eager to learn and would love a family that can guide me. Many of my friends here are strays, so we're not always sure about past living situations with kids, other pets, or house training. If you have kids or other dogs in your home, we'll need to meet them to make sure we're a good fit!

• You must schedule a meet-and-greet in advance.
• We recommend looking online to see which dogs might be a good match before scheduling.
• If you find a dog you're interested in, fill out the form at www.tinyurl.com/meetacitydog and an adoption counselor will be in touch to schedule your meet.
• During your visit, an adoption counselor will introduce you to adoptable dogs, share what we know about them, and discuss how to best welcome a new dog into your home.
• You're welcome to meet multiple dogs.
• If the dog you adopt is already spayed/neutered, they may go home with you the same day. Otherwise, they will go home after their surgery.
