Santi

Meet Santi! He's a 3-year-old, 90-pound Mastiff mix who was saved from a high-euthanasia shelter in New York. Santi is waiting for his special person to give him a second chance at a happy life. He's affectionate and thinks he's a tiny lap dog, but he can be cautious with new people and needs slow, respectful introductions to build trust. He loves playful dogs, tasty snacks, and naps on the couch. He also enjoys walks and car rides. Santi doesn't need a high-energy life, just love, patience, and structure.

Ideal Home

Santi would do best in an adult-only household. He adjusts fastest with a single dedicated adopter, but he can learn to love multiple adults.

Ongoing Health

Santi is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Santi spent over a month at Keep Them Wagging Training Facility in Norwalk, CT, where he learned valuable skills. Continued work with them would help facilitate a strong bond between Santi and his new family.

Transporation

Santi is currently in a foster home in Connecticut. We adopt to many states along the East Coast, and transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside our typical adoption states, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.
