Meet Whisper and Scout, a bonded pair of sweet, longhaired Dachshunds looking for their forever retirement home together. These two lovely ladies are ready to spend their golden years as full-time companions, enjoying naps, cuddles, and quality time with their people. Whisper, a clear cream piebald, was born on November 7, 2017, and Scout, a chocolate-based shaded cream, was born on August 23, 2016. They are both spayed and up to date on their vaccinations and heartworm prevention.

Ideal Home

Whisper and Scout would thrive in a quiet, low-activity home where they can enjoy a relaxed routine. A retired individual or couple, or someone who spends much of their time at home, would be an excellent fit. They would prefer a calm environment without young children, where they can receive lots of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Whisper has a history of seizures due to a past injury. She was taken off seizure medication due to weight gain and is currently on a special diet to help with weight loss. Both girls are heartworm negative and are on monthly heartworm prevention. They will be up to date on Rabies & DAPP vaccinations before going home, and their dental health has been addressed.

Training & Support

Whisper and Scout are crate-trained and have no specific behavioral issues mentioned beyond their need for a calm environment.
