Clyde

Animal Information: Clyde is an estimated 1-year-old 29 lb terrier mix who was a stray intake to the Tulare County municipal animal shelter. He was at risk for euthanasia due to overcrowding. Despite being overwhelmed in the shelter environment, he has shown no aggression to people or other dogs. We expect he will blossom in rescue and look forward to getting to know him in foster care.

Foster Profile: we expected Clyde to blossom in foster care and that he did! This sweet boy wants nothing more than to give and receive love. He’s always down for pets, pats, or giving kisses and has proven to be a great house guest. Clyde is potty trained, crate trained (with some minor whining going in), and loves other dogs in the foster home. He is a curious boy who loves to sniff the yard, and happily comes when called.

Clyde is still nervous around loud, unexpected noises and will do well with continued training and exposure. If you’re looking for a young dog that has a little energy and a lot of love to give, he may be your guy.

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).

Animal History: Clyde was rescued from Tulare County Animal Services where he was a stray intake and at risk due to overcrowding. He will be arriving to DGS on Monday 6/22 via our rescue partner Furry Freight, and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
